Introduction

Property details play a crucial role in loan assessments by providing essential information such as property size, type, and value. Customizing these settings allows lenders to tailor data fields—such as street view, legal descriptions, and insurance—to fit underwriting needs while ensuring a streamlined workflow.

Navigating to This Section

1. Click the Gear icon in the top-right corner to open Settings.

2. Select Company Settings.

3. Use the left-hand navigation menu to find and expand Loan Setup/Origination.

4. Locate Property Fields.

Tip: If you cannot access Property Fields, ensure you have the necessary permissions or check with your administrator.

Selecting which fields to display ensures that only relevant property details appear in loan files, helping keep workflows efficient while maintaining access to hidden data.

Enables street view for in-progress, funded, discharged, or terminated loans.

Legal Description

Displays legal details for main and other properties.

Jurisdiction

Enables jurisdiction field for properties.

Subdivision / Sub-section

Adds details for property subdivision.

Construction Land Value

Available for construction loans only.

Lot Size

Enables lot size field.

Living Space

Displays living space measurements.

Priority Amount

Denotes lien or priority amounts associated with the property.

Property Type

Defines the type of property (e.g., residential, commercial).

Property Description

Provides a detailed property summary.

Property ID

Displays unique property identifier.

Property PIN

Enables PIN field for secondary properties.

Property Owner

Lists the owners Name, Vesting Type, and Share percentage. Required for Title Search integration.

Property Amenity

Lists amenities for the main property.

Occupancy

Defines whether the property is owner-occupied, rented, or vacant.

Year Built

Records the construction year of the property.

Do Not Auto-Populate Address

Prevents automatic filling of property address from borrower details.

Best Practice: Deselecting a field hides it from view but retains the stored data, which can be re-enabled at any time.

Insurance Settings

Enabling Insurance displays a list of policies linked to the main property.

Best Practice: If Insurance is deselected, the entire insurance section is removed from the loan file.
