Introduction

Configuring appraisal and site inspection settings ensures accurate property evaluations while reducing repetitive setup tasks. This guide covers setting a default Valuation Mode, enabling Property Entry Details, and optimizing your workflow.

Navigating to This Section

1. Click the Gear icon in the top-right corner to open Settings.

2. Select Company Settings.

3. Use the left-hand navigation menu to find and expand Loan Setup/Origination.

4. Locate Property Fields.

Tip: If you cannot access Property Fields, ensure you have the necessary permissions or check with your administrator.

Appraisal/Site Inspection Settings

Valuation Mode

The Valuation Mode determines how properties are evaluated during loan origination. Choose the option that best aligns with your underwriting process:

Valuation Mode

Description

Inspection

Enables only inspection-related fields.

Appraisal

Enables only appraisal-related fields.

Both

Enables all fields for both inspections and appraisals.

N/A

Hides all inspection and appraisal fields.

Best Practice: Select the Valuation Mode that applies to most of your loans. You can adjust it on a per-loan basis as needed.

Property Entry Details

If the Valuation Mode includes an appraisal, you can enter Property Entry Details to provide appraisers with access instructions.

Tip: Including detailed property access information prevents delays and ensures a smooth appraisal process.
