Configure document settings to manage commitment displays, templates, headers, footers, and investor statement colors efficiently.

Introduction

The Document Configurations section allows lenders to customize how loan-related documents are displayed, formatted, and processed. These settings help ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency when generating and managing documents.

Navigating to Document Configurations

  1. Click the Gear icon in the top-right corner to open Settings.

  2. Select Company Settings.

  3. Expand Loan Setup/Origination in the left-hand navigation menu.

  4. Click Documents and select Document Configurations.

Tip: If the Document Configurations section is not visible, ensure you have the necessary permissions or contact your administrator.

These settings control how commitments are displayed and manage expiry dates to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Description

Commitment Display Mode

Determines whether the commitment displays Lender or Investor details. Select the appropriate view based on stakeholder requirements.

Set Generated Document Expiry Date

Enables an expiry date for system-generated documents to ensure time-sensitive paperwork remains valid for a specific period.

Tip: Configuring document conditions ensures that commitments display correctly and that time-sensitive documents remain valid.

Document Rendering Options

These options define how documents appear, improving clarity and usability for borrowers and investors.

Description

Show Fee Line Items if the Value is $0.00

Displays all fee line items in documents, even if they have no monetary value, ensuring transparency.

Attach Amortization Schedule to Commitment

Automatically appends an amortization schedule to the commitment, detailing payment breakdowns over the loan term.

Use Larger Borrower Initials Box in Footer (Custom Documents Only)

Expands the borrower’s initials box in custom documents to make signing easier.

Corporate Borrower Custom Signer

Enables a checkbox in the corporate borrower’s shareholder section, allowing shareholders to sign on behalf of the corporation.

Joint Investor Custom Signer

Allows individuals in a joint investor account to sign on behalf of the account by adding a designated signature section in relevant documents.

Disable Yellow Highlights from Unconfirmed Documents

Removes yellow highlights in unconfirmed document previews, providing a cleaner display.

Enable or disable specific loan-related document templates to ensure the necessary forms are generated for each transaction.

Allow Omitting Header and Footer on a Per-Loan Basis

Display Header on the First Page Only (For All Documents)

Enable Automatic Footer (In Absence of Footer Graphic)

Ensures a default footer appears in documents when no custom footer graphic is provided.
