Introduction
Whitelabeling your email domain allows emails sent from the system to appear as if they originate from your company’s domain rather than a third-party email service. This improves deliverability, branding, and reduces the risk of emails being flagged as spam.
Navigating to Email Whitelabelling Settings
Click the Gear icon in the top-right corner to open Settings.
Select Company Settings.
Expand Loan Setup/Origination in the left-hand navigation menu.
Click External Communication Settings.
Under Email Whitelabelling, click Configure Domains.
Tip: Ensure you have administrative access to make domain configuration changes.
Step 1: Select the Domain to Configure
After clicking Configure Domains, you will see a list of email domains used by system users. The system detects available domains based on the email addresses of registered users.
Review the detected domain list.
Select the domain you want to configure.
Click View DNS Records to see the required domain setup details.
Best Practice : If the required domain does not appear, ensure that at least one user is registered with an email address under the intended domain.
Step 2: Add DNS Records to Your Domain Provider
To authenticate your domain, you need to add CNAME records to your DNS settings. This process varies depending on your domain registrar (e.g., GoDaddy, Google Domains, Cloudflare).
Log in to your domain provider’s dashboard.
Navigate to the DNS Settings.
Locate the option to Add a New Record.
Create a CNAME record for each value listed under the system-generated DNS records:
Host: Provided by the system
Type: CNAME
Value: Provided by the system
Save the changes.
Warning: DNS changes may take up to 48 hours to propagate fully. Avoid making multiple changes before verifying.
Step 3: Verify the DNS Records
Once DNS records have been added to your domain provider, you need to verify the configuration.
Return to the Email Whitelabelling section in External Communication Settings.
Click Verify Settings.
If all DNS records are correctly set up, a Domain Verified message will appear.
Tip: If verification fails, check for typos in the DNS records or ensure they have fully propagated before retrying.
Step 4: Confirm Email Delivery
Once the domain is verified:
All system-generated emails will now appear to come from your whitelisted domain.
Test email delivery by sending an email from the system to verify correct sending behavior.
