Introduction
Customize your USIO email templates to ensure borrowers and internal users receive payment updates. You’ll set the sender and recipient fields and can edit the email content as needed. This helps your team stay informed and improves borrower communication.
Navigation
Click the Gear icon in the top-right corner to open Settings.
Select Communication Setup.
Use the left-hand navigation menu to the Integrations section to locate USIO notification templates.
Configure Notification Templates
To ensure borrowers and internal teams receive the right payment updates, you’ll need to edit the Incomplete Transactions and Payment Received templates.
Tip: Be sure to test your template settings to ensure emails are delivered to the correct recipients and formatted as expected.
This includes configuring the To Address and From Address fields, with the option to customize the email content itself.
Note: Borrower payment confirmations are only sent after a payment is successfully submitted, not after funds are cleared or allocated. Lenders still need to complete the allocation process in the system.
FAQs
Do I have to edit the email content?
No, you only need to update the To and From fields. Template content editing is optional.
Can I have different recipients for each template?
Yes. Each template has separate To Address and From Address fields that can be configured independently.
What happens if I don’t change the addresses?
Emails may not be delivered as expected. Updating these fields ensures messages reach the correct parties.
