Understanding Payment Statuses

Payments submitted through the portal remain in “Received” status until the lender manually allocates them. This ensures they’re posted to the correct balances.

  • Received: Payment has been submitted through the portal and successfully reached USIO, but it has not yet been allocated by the lender.

  • Allocated: Payment has been manually allocated by the lender to the appropriate outstanding amounts through the Payments, Adjustments & Charges module.

Warning: Payments with a Received status may not have fully cleared through the banking system. Always verify that funds have been deposited before considering a payment complete in your accounting.

FAQs

Does the report show refunded or reversed payments?
No. The report only displays payments submitted through the Borrower Portal. Refunds must be reviewed separately.

When does a payment change from Received to Allocated?
A payment changes to Allocated once you manually allocate it using the Payments, Adjustments & Charges module.
