Introduction
The Access section allows you to connect your Investor Portal to a custom subdomain, giving investors an easy-to-remember and branded URL to access their accounts.
Navigation to This Section
Click the gear icon in the top-right corner to open Settings.
Select Investor Portal.
Click Access from the left-hand navigation menu under General.
Tip: If you cannot access Access settings, ensure you have the necessary permissions or check with your administrator.

Warning: Make sure you have access to your domain's DNS settings before continuing. This setup requires creating a CNAME record.
Step-by-Step Setup Instructions
Enter Your Subdomain:
In the https:// field, type the subdomain you’d like to use
(e.g., investor.yourcompany.com).
Click Next to proceed.
Configure DNS Settings:
In your domain host (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc..), create a CNAME record pointing your chosen subdomain to: investor-portal.mortgageautomator.com
The exact steps vary depending on your DNS provider. Look for your domain’s DNS settings or zone editor.
Check and Activate the Connection:
After saving your CNAME record, return to the Mortgage Automator and click Check DNS.
If successful, a message will confirm your DNS is properly connected. If it fails, check the CNAME record configuration that you set up in step 2. Ensure it points to investor-portal.mortgageautomator.com.
Click Activate to enable portal access at your subdomain.

Can I reuse the same subdomain as the Borrower or Broker Portal?
No. Each portal requires a unique subdomain.
How long does DNS take to activate?
It can take up to 48 hours depending on your domain host. Most changes apply within a few hours.
